Woven Wire Heart

Students will make this charming little pendant while learning to make perfect hearts, open spirals, wrapping with wire, attaching pieces to together with wire and a basic wire weave.

All of this is one 4 hour class!

Some students may finish earlier!

You can modify this design in innumerable ways. The hearts are chosen only because if is February. I will bring many other examples and discuss them in detail, if needed.

This pendant is only about 2" tall. You can easily make it into a pair of earrings or make coordinating heart earrings.

Tools

Round nose pliers, chain or fine flat nose pliers, flush wire cutter, six step pliers (optional).

Materials

Your choice of beads, 2 feet of 18 gauge wire and 5 feet of 24 gauge wire.
